Business Operations

  • Director, Strategic Development
    Key Responsibilities: Leading and overseeing the capture, proposal, and marketing functions within COE.  Duties will involve full life cycle capture management including managing the opportunity assessment process, making bid/no bid decisions, building relationships with key partners, designing and executing a winning proposal strategy, overseeing the proposal development and proposal production process, and coordinating with the project team during and after contract award. Additional duties include managing the execution of a strategic marketing plan and the graphics and production functions to ensure consistent high-quality marketing, proposal, and client artifacts.
  • Strategic Marketing Manager
    Key Responsibilities: Developing strategy, planning and executing all aspects of marketing, promoting, and placing COE people and solutions to ensure attainment of overall growth, sales, and profitability goals across business units and for COE as a company. Key responsibilities include all outbound marketing communications, public relations, strategic messaging, market definition, branding, collateral development, positioning and social media initiatives. This position is also responsible for lead generation programs and infrastructure tools needed to support marketing initiatives.  
  • Practice Lead
    Key Responsibilities: Interfacing continually with clients, ensuring the effective delivery of our services, and developing and growing business. This position requires a person who has proven broad and deep experience in Federal market sector within all three areas and who desires to raise the bar in terms of quality and market position. As COE spans both management and technology consulting, and provides services that merge the two, this position requires a person who is comfortable in and can effectively address both.

Consulting Services

  • Associate Consultant
    Key Responsibilities: Applying COE solutions to complete tasks and for creating of outstanding client outcomes and deliverables (e.g., Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, oral presentations). Under the guidance and direction of senior staff, the Associate Consultant will play a significant role in client interactions and will support the success of the firm through contributions to solution development, project activities, and company programs and initiatives.
  • Enterprise Architect
    Key Responsibilities: Divided into five main categories: Enterprise Architecture, Technical Team Support, Client Management, Innovator Development, and Internal Operations. Please see PDF for a full description of responsibilities related to each area.
  • Management Consultant
    Key Responsibilities: Consulting to client organizations to assist them in achieving measurable improvements in their organizational performance; supporting business development efforts; marketing COE’s capabilities; and effectively managing client relationships. Successful candidates will have 5+ years consulting experience in organizational effectiveness, including HR strategy and planning, OD and change, business process improvement, leadership development, performance management and related areas. Federal experience is highly desired.
  • Management Consultant/Communications Strategist
    Key Responsibilties:
    Achieving measurable improvements in organizational performance by developing and deploying communication and marketing strategies. Consultant in this role will advise on communication and outreach operations, manage branding and messaging, support client with asset and resource management. In addition as a contributor to the firm you will be involved in assisting in building business; participating in marketing COE’s capabilities; managing client relationships; contributing as a team member to consulting engagements; and providing innovations to client projects.  Successful candidates will have experience in developing and deployment of large scale transformation messaging efforts, specifically those surrounding Federal programs with a background in HR programs and strategy preferred. 
  • Research Analyst/Organizational Effectiveness Specialist
    Key Responsibilities: Providing data review, data analysis, operational analysis and statistical analysis support to a program office within a major federal department and for other projects involving metrics and analysis. Core responsibilities include being the primary point of contact for program analytics, providing updates to metrics and dashboards, supporting senior consultants and government team members with modeling and professional advice regarding statistics/analytics. The successful candidate has a key role in ensuring the joint program office team can collect and analyze numerical data, collate data into understandable formats, and help interpret collected data to allow the team to make informed decisions.
  • PeopleSoft Developer
    Key Responsibilities: Designing, planning, testing and implementing system enhancements and custom development that meet functional and technical specifications of a large PeopleSoft HR and payroll application. This person will be responsible for applying technical knowledge, skills, and judgment to solve problems relating to financial systems and subsystems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of [5+] years’ experience in PeopleSoft tolls and development.
  • Program Manager
    Key Responsibilities: Utilize program management skills and initiative to handle a new Federal government program. Duties for this position will include the key elements of program/project management, functional management and customer relations. This individual must have demonstrated qualifications to plan, organize, staff, report, coordinate, control, identify/mitigate risk and direct all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion. The individual in this position will coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Senior Business Analyst
    Key Responsibilities: Developing and/or assisting in the development of detailed functional requirements for the product based on customer requirements. This person will work with software engineering to finalize product requirements working with an agile development team. The SBA will also provide in-depth functional analysis in support of project scope and objectives.
  • Senior Consultant
    Key Responsibilities: providing expert level consultation to client organizations to assist them in achieving measurable improvements in their organizational performance; building business; marketing COE’s capabilities; managing client relationships; leading consulting engagements; and providing thought leadership. Successful candidates will have 10+ years consulting experience in organizational effectiveness, including HR strategy and planning, OD and change, business process improvement, leadership development, performance management as well as proven track record of business development and project management. Federal experience is highly desired.
  • Senior .NET Developer
    Key Responsibilities: Supporting existing infrastructure as well as develop new enhancements. The candidates must be familiar with Visual Studio, C#, Linq, Model View Controller (MVC), SQL Server, SQL and Team Foundation Server (TFS).  They must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. The developers for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity.
